Once we have received the form, we will contact your patient to arrange a convenient appointment and venue, and explain what they will need to do.  On completion of the examination, the results will be typed and sent to you, so it is vital that we have the correct contact details for both you and your patient.

 

We also have an electronic referral form (E-Referral Form) that allows referrers to send referrals to us quickly and securely. If you would be interested in joining our database of approved referrers, please  Register with us.

 

Timescales

We will try to contact your patient within 24 hours of receiving a request, in order to arrange an appointment.   We will also try to ensure that the result of the examination is sent to you within 24 hours of the investigation, although there may be a slight delay if the images need to be reviewed by another radiologist or are a particularly specialised form of investigation.
