MRI and Ultrasound scan referrals

We accept MRI and ultrasound referrals from doctors and other regulated medical professionals such as physiotherapists, osteopaths and chiropractors. 

 

CT scan and X-ray referrals

Because CT scan and X-ray referrals are regulated by ionising radiation legislation, referrals are only accepted from qualified medical or dental practitioners.

E-Referral

We now offer a secure electronic referral service. If you would be interested in joining our database of approved referrers, please  Register with us.

 

Timescales

We will try to contact your patient within 24 hours of receiving a request, in order to arrange an appointment.   We will also try to ensure that the result of the examination is sent to you within 24 hours of the investigation, although there may be a slight delay if the images need to be reviewed by another radiologist or are a particularly specialised form of investigation.
